Let us to Jupiter our praises sing.
As Rhea from high her voice doth ring;
Whilst Aurora rises as trumpets sound.
Ere Andromeda sings her air to ground-
The fates weave the strands of destiny-
Necessity gives verse her Threnody-
O cometh Hesperus. Ev’ning star so bright;-
Scatter’d sheaves of light o’er the sky of night
‘Mongst suns of Nyx of dark rob’d Erebus.
Emeralds and orb’d sapphires of cirl’d spheres;
For dryads doth follow Acantha’s train
And naiads dance before the dewy rain;
Like shining globes of silent scintillation-
Majestic orbs in stately jubilation.
